Deep Water Soloing
in Mallorca
Climbing routes by the sea with guides who know every pitch.
Whether you’re an experienced traveller or not, we know where to find what you’re looking for. We’ll show you the best the island has to offer, tailored to your level, and we’ll take the photos, so all you have to do is enjoy yourself.
What is
Deep Water Soloing?
Psicobloc is climbing above the sea. And with us, it means exploring, scaling uncrowded cliffs, having fun and pushing your limits without worrying about the weather, the depth of the sea, your lack of experience or the equipment. We provide everything you need.
Mallorca is the global birthplace of psicobloc – the place where it began and flourished, home to the toughest routes, including those set by Chris Sharma and our own, which will make you feel alive and change the way you view climbing.
We’ll take you out by boat, choose the area based on sea conditions and the group’s ability level, and mix up the walls so that everyone can enjoy themselves, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver.
We have everything you need to live out your climbing dream safely, comfortably and with expert guidance.

Walking access
(the classic)
The purest form of deep water soloing: we walk there, choose a wall, approach via the safest route and climb as we always have.
We warm up on easy routes or traverses and ramp up the intensity depending on each person’s goal. You just focus on one thing: having fun.
The good bits: simple, straightforward, authentic. 100% deep water soloing.
The important thing: is that we choose the area based on the sea conditions and your level of experience, so that you feel comfortable and safe right from the start.

Boat trip
(the headline act)
This is deep water soloing in ‘Rock and Water’ mode: a speedboat, Mallorca’s best psicobloc coastline and the freedom to choose your routes.
We move between different areas, avoid the crowds and access the routes from the sea, with no vertigo-inducing descents and more room to explore.
The good bits: flexible, exciting and unique. Deep water soloing with more freedom.
The important thing: we choose the areas based on the sea conditions and your level, so you feel comfortable, safe and ready to enjoy every climb.
From €99 / per person
Combined boat session
(the full day)
The ‘perfect day’: deep water soloing combined with sea cave exploration or coasteering in one unforgettable adventure.
You’ll climb, swim, explore hidden corners of the coastline and discover places that most visitors never get to see.

The important thing: this is real nature, guided by local experts who know the coastline inside out and choose the safest options for every group.

What do those who’ve

Deep Water Soloing for all levels, in the best place in the world.
I’ve been coming to climb in Mallorca for over 20 years. The freedom of climbing ropeless above the sea on such high quality rock is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s revolutionized my perspective of what’s possible in climbing.
Since I met Sebas at Rock and Water in 2017, he’s become a close friend. You can feel how passionate he and his team is about this place and his love for sharing it with others. He knows all the best spots for every level. Whenever I have friends visiting, I always book a trip with Sebas at Rock and Water.

Can I do DWS if I’ve never climbed before?
Yes, we tailor the activity to each person’s level. You can come along whether you’ve never climbed before or are a seasoned climber. We know where to take you.
Is it dangerous?
As with any outdoor activity, there are risks involved, so knowing how to swim is the most important thing. We’ll teach you how to jump or fall into the water and let you know everything you need to bear in mind. When we’re out on a boat, safety and speed are even more crucial!
Do I have to jump from big heights?
No, you don’t have to jump if you don’t want to – you can always head back to the boat the way you came up. But if you’re up for it, we’ll show you how to jump and get into the water.
What happens if the sea conditions aren't good?
We constantly monitor the sea and the wind, so we should know the sea conditions at least a couple of days in advance and will let you know of any changes to the timetable or location. If the activity cannot go ahead, we’ll offer you alternative dates, locations or activities, and if none of these suit you, we can always refund whatever you’ve paid.
What's the difference between walking access and the boat trip?
On foot, you can easily reach one area; by boat, you can reach several. On foot, you usually have to climb down to the start of the trails or routes; by boat, you start from the bottom. On foot, you have to carry your rucksack with you, whereas on the boat you can stow it away the whole time. On foot, you’ll enjoy the classic, most authentic experience; by boat, you’ll enjoy the most complete experience, seeing the island from the sea. You’ll enjoy it from the very first moment.
What languages do you guide in?
Usually in English, but we mix in some Spanish when necessary.
